Scrappy stars

Erinnert ihr euch noch an mein Resteprojekt? Ich habe all meine Reste auf den Tisch gepackt und losgenäht. Dabei sind sechs bunte Sterne rausgekommen. Leider habe ich trotzallem immer noch einige Reste übrig, aber ich denke so sieht der kleine Quilt schon sehr schön aus.
Derzeit habe ich zwar keinen Anlass, einen Babyquilt zu nähen, weder für mich, noch für irgendwelche Freunde, denn im Moment gibt es keine Babys im Anflug. Für mich persönlich ist das prima, ich kann vorarbeiten:-) Ich werde diesen Quilt noch mit einem Rahmen in weiß versehen und dann ein buntes Binding ansetzen, dann ist er fertig. Meine Schwiedermutter hat zwar schon gefragt, ob der für sie sei, aber ich habe ehrlich grade keine Lust mehr auf noch mehr Sterne.

Remember my last destash project? I put all of my stripes on the table and startet sewing. I finished with six scrappy stars. But I have still a lot of my stash left. But I think this little baby quilt looks very cute. 
At the moment there is no reason to sew baby quilts not for me and not for any of my friends, no babys on the way. That is perfect for me - I can prepare some gifts. I´m going to frame the quilt with a white boarder and to finish it I will use a colored binding then I`m finished. My Mother in law just asked if this one is for her but I don`t want to sew any more stars at the moment.

Von den sechs Sternen habe ich fünf in diesem Quilt verarbeitet. Dazu habe ich vier weitere einfache "Six point Stars" genäht. Die Rautengröße ist 3 inch. Zwischen den Blöcken habe ich ein 2,5 Inch breites Sashing eingenäht. Das stellt die Sterne etwas mehr heraus finde ich. Der sechste Stern wird ein dazu passendes Kissen.

I put five of six stars into this quilt. Plus four "six point stars" in simply colors. I use 3" diamonds. The sashing between the blocks is 2,5 " wide. It gives more focus on the stars. The last star is going to be a small pillow.

So, jetzt muss ich etwas Wäsche waschen und einkaufen. Danach gehts mit den Inlinern zur Oma. Man muss ja das schöne Wetter gleich ausnutzen. Nach diesem nassen August ist etwas Sonne sehr schön.

Ok, that`s it for today. No I have to wash some laundry and go to the grocery store. After that I`m going to do a little bit of skating. Need to go into the sun after all that rain.
