Noch ein letztes Tischband möchte ich euch zeigen. Dieses Tischband habe ich meiner Tante zu Weihnachten geschenkt. Der weiß/goldene Sternenstoff stammt von meinem Lieblingsstoffladen in Bamberg, der braune Stoff am Rand sind vom Stoffmarkt und den grünen Stoff habe ich im Sommer selbst gefärbt. Das Band ist ca. 1,60 m öang und 20 cm breit. Passend für eine schöne Tischtafel.
I want to show sou one last tablerunner. This one I made as a present for my aunt. The golden/white fabric comes from my favorite fabric shop in Bamberg, the brown one from the fabric market and the green one is self-dyed. The runner is about 63 inches long and 8 inches wide. Great size for a christmas table.
Hier seht ihr nochmals eine Nahaufnahme des Bandes. Ich finde diese Farbkombie ebenso passend für Weihnachten wie rot, weiß und grün oder rot und weiß. Sie ist nur nicht so oft gesehen.
Das Tischband ist gewendet und dann knappkantig abgenäht, sodass es die Form behält. Von weiteren Quiltereihen habe ich bei diesem Band abgesehen, da es sonst zu überladen wirkt.
Here you can see the runner in detail. I think these colours are just as well for christmas like red green and white or red and white. But mostly you can see the traditional christmas clours.
The band is turned an just stitched on the border to keep in form. I didn`t wanted to do more quilting on it, it would have been to much.
