Schönen Sonntag euch allen. Heute ist Sonntag. Sonntag ist für mich ein Tag, an dem man faul sein darf, aber nicht muss:-) Man hat frei von der Arbeit und viel Zeit. Ganz faul bin ich Sonntags selten, aber heute schon. Ich war wählen, habe das ganze mit einem Spaziergang quer durchs Dorf verknüpft und danach die Sonne auf dem Balkon genossen. Dazu einen Kaffee und ein Stück Rotweinkuchen. (Nein, den habe ich nicht heute gebacken, der ist von gestern)
Bei dieser Gelegenheit habe ich mir gedacht, zeige ich doch mal meinen neuen Kaffee-Läufer für meine neue Küche. Das ist er. Schlicht in Kaffeebraunen Tönen gehalten.
Nice sunday everyone. Today it is sunday. Sunday is the day of the week I can have a lazy day but I don`t have to:-) Much much time and off from work. I`m not lazy that much but today it is a lazy day. I went for the elections and took the chance for a walk through the village. After that I took a rest on my balkony in the sun. With coffee and a red-wine-cake (no I didn`t bake it today, it is from yesterday).
And I want to show you my coffee table runner for my new kitchen. Here it is. Just kept it in typical coffee colors.
Die beigen Zwischenreihen habe ich Freihand gequiltet.
The beige parts are quiltet with free motion quilting.
So stehen die anderen Stoffe etwas mehr heraus und das ganze wirkt etwas dreidimensional.
It makes the other fabrics stand out al little bit more and make it kind of three-dimensional.
So, jetzt gönne ich mir noch einen Kuchen und wünsche euch einen schönen Sonntag.
