Es war mal wieder Zeit, Zeit zu nähen. Es hat hier etwas abgekühl in den letzten Tagen, geregnet und gewindet. Und zwischen diversen Arbeitstagen und anderen Freizeitaktivitäten habe ich tatsächlich zwei bis drei Abende für ein paar Stunden an der Maschine gesessen, Musik gehört und genäht.
I managed it - time to sew. It cooled down a little bit within the last few days, it rained and it was a little bit windy. Between my Job duties and my freetime activities I found some hours to sew on two or three evenings, listening to some music and just do some sewing.
Ich habe mit einem neuen Quilt begonnen. Mehr als diese Bilder hier zeige ich aber nicht, ehe der Quilt fertig ist. Ich bin jedoch sehr begeistert, wie schnell der Quilt wächst und zusammenpasst. Echt toll. Ich bin schon ganz gespannt auf das Ergebnis.
I started a new quilt. But I can`t share more than these pictures until it is finished. But I`m really exited how quick and easy the quilt gets together and grows and fits perfectly. Really really awsome. I`m curious about seeing it finished.
Was ihr hier entstehen seht ist die eine Hälfte der Blöcke. Für die andere Hälfte benötige ich die Jelly Roll mit den wunderbaren Stoffen von Vanessa Christensons Serie "Simply Colour" für einen "Sixteen-patch".
Jedenfalls bleiben auch bei diesem Quilt jede Menge HST`s übrig. Jedoch nicht so kleine wie beim letzten. Diese hier sind ca. 4 " im Quadrat, ich habe sie noch nicht zugeschnitten.
What you can see here is one half of the blocks for the quilt. For the other half I need the Jelly Roll of Vanessa Christenson`s great fabrics "simply colour" for a "Sixteen-patch".
Also at this quilt I got a stack of half-square-triangles left behind. But not that tiny as the ones frome the "purple Stars" Quilt in January. These one are about 4" squares, I didn`t trimmed these guys yet.
Ich werde die HST`s erst einmal sammeln und auf Seite legen. Vielleicht findet sich dafür eine kleine Lösung.
For now I will store them anywhere else. Maybe another project can be found for these later on.
