Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas

Heute gibt es viele viele Bilder aus Las Vegas. Ich habe die Zeit gefunden, mich durch 1500 Bilder zu graben und ich möchte euch davon einige zeigen. Dieses Mal nur Bilder vom Tag, Nachts in Las Vegas ist nochmals ganz anders, die gibt es beim nächsten mal.

Today I`ll show you a lot of pictures from our trip to Las Vegas. I found some time to go through 1500 pictures - now I`m going to show you some. this post only day pictures. Las Vegas is completly diffrent at night.

Wir waren drei Tage in Las Vegas. An diesen Tagen sind wir den Stripe einmal gegen Norden hinauf gelaufen - und zurück und am nächsten Tag in Richtung Süden. Las Vegas konnte ich mir nicht wirklich vorstellen, wie es sein würde. Ich sage nur überwältigend. Sooooo viele Sachen auf einmal. Man weiß teilweise garnicht, wo man zuerst hinschauen soll oder hingehen soll.

We stayed three days in Las Vegas. One day we walked up the strip to the north and the next day we walked down south. I could imagine how Las Vegas would be. It was overwhelming. You can see sooooooo many things - sometimes I didn`t know where to look or to go first.

Wir hatten unsere Bleibe im bekanntesten Hotel von Las Vegas. "Einmal im Leben gönnen wir uns eine Suite - Warum dann nicht in Las Vegas?" Gedacht, gebucht. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne, wirkich großzügige Suite mit einem riesen Bett, einem Bad mit Badewanne, einem mit riesen Dampfdusche und ein "Gäste WC". Dazu ein super schönes Wohnzimmer, großen Kleiderschrank und große Fernseher in jedem Zimmer, auch im Bad. Dort waren sie im Spiegel integriert. Uns hat es gefallen:-)

We stayed in the famous Bellagio. As we planned the trip we said: "One time of our life we want to book a suite - why not in Vegas?" We did it. We had a really nice and big suite with a huge kingsize bed, one bathroom with a bath tub, one with a big steam shower, one guest toilet. We had a big living room, a big wardrobe and TVs in every room, even in the Bathrooms. the were built into the mirrors. We liked our suite.

Wir hatten wunderschönes Wetter in Las Vegas. Aus dem Hotel kommend sieht man gleich den Eiffelturm vom "Paris-Hotel". Man weiß genau, man ist in Amerika, aber trotzdem hat man den Eiffelturm vor der Nase, fast wie eine kleine Reise nach Europa.

We had super weather in Las Vegas. Coming out of the hotel we could see the Eiffeltower infront ot the "Paris" Hotel. You know you are in Amerika but somehow it looks like in europe sometimes. A small trip to europe inclusive.

Am ersten Tag sind wir ca. 10 km gelaufen. Einmal zum Ortschild nach Norden. Vorbei an vielen bekannten Hotels wie das "New York, New York", "Excalibur" - dem Märchenschloss,...

We walked about 10 km the first day. One time to the norht with the welcome sign. We passed a lot of well known hotels like the "New York, New York", "Excalibur" - the beautiful castle,...

"Mandalay Bay", das Hotel sah von außen bis auf die Gartenanlagen etwas unspektakulär aus, und

... dem "Luxor" Hotel, das wie eine Pyramide aussieht. Wir waren auch in jedem Hotel und Casino, haben uns umgeschaut und etwas gespielt. Teilweise sind die Hotels so groß wie ein ganzer Häuserblock. Wirklich gigantisch.

... the "Luxor" hotel, the one that looks like a pyramide. We visited each hotel from the inside too and played a little bit in the casinos. Sometimes the hotels were so big like a complete block of houses. Gigantic!

Man läuft auch an ganz vielen ausgefallenen Geschäften vorbei, wie diesem Harley Davidson Cafe mit der fetten Harley über dem Eingang. Überal sieht man auch Reklametafeln, alles LED und die modernste Werbetechnik. Wirklich verrückt.

We paased a lot of crazy shops, bars and restaurant like this Harley Davidson Cafe with a big harley on top of the entrance. Everywhere commercials with the best technik you can get. 

Am nächsten Tag ging es in die andere Richtung. Vorbei am "Caesars Palace", das war das größte Hotel am Stripe mit einer Little Italy Einkaufspassage im Erdgeschoss. Dort hat man wirklich gedacht, dass man mitten am Trevibrunnen in Rom steht und einkaufen gehen kann. Durch die gleichmäßige Lichtverteilung denkt man es ist immer ca. 4 Uhr am Nachmittag, wirklich tückisch, wenn man da länger bleibt, als würde man die Zeit anhalten.

The next day we went into the other direction - south. We passed "Ceasars Palace", the biggest hotel at the stripe with a huge shopping mall - no it is not a mall, it is like walking trough little italy while going shopping. The rebuild parts of the Trevi Fontains of rom. It is always the same light, if you don`t got a watch with you you will always think it is 4 pm. Staying there is like freeze time.

Vorbei am "Mirage" mit seiner Volkanlandschaft vor dem Hotel, an "Treasure Island" vorbei. Dort wollten wir uns eigentlich die Piratenschlachten ansehen. Leider, leider wurde das nichts, die Schiffe lagen auf dem trockenen und wurden gerade renoviert. Der komplette Eingang eine Baustelle. Schade.

We took a look at "The Mirage" with the vulcano landscape infront of the hotels goining on to "treasure Island". We`d like to see the pirates fighting but there was no water in because the renovated the location. Bad luck, no pirates for us.

Das "The Venetian" haben wir uns genauer angeschaut. Auch hier wieder eine komplette Nachbildung von Venedig. Man konnte im Hotel vor dieser Kulisse Gondel fahren, genauso wie vor dem Hotel. Einfach verrückt.

Ich hoffe ihr habt nun auch einen Eindruck von Las Vegas gewonnen. Es ist auf jeden Fall mal sehenswert, allerdings muss ich für meinen Teil sagen - Einmal Las Vegas im Leben reicht völlig aus:-)


"The Venetian" was one of the last hotels we really took a long time to look at it. Inside you can find a rebuild little venice. You could go by gondola through the coulisse - like infront of the hotel. realla crazy.

I hope it was interessting to see some impressions of Las Vegas. It is completly worth it to visit it one time, but I must say - one time Las Vegas in life is enough for me.
